CONGRATULATIONS MISS T!

A million congratulations to Miss T, who mailed yesterday to say she has just landed a job as a primary school teacher in one of the top schools in the county!

With a newly-minted masters and one of the highest GPAs in her class, it was only a matter of time before she began indoctrinating the yoof of today... And with her wacky sense of humor and a keen intellect, she will hopefully mold a better future for all of us - whether or not they're stupid enough to join the big corporate world decades later...*

What an injection of hope! In her own words:
FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS! Even if it gets you into debt (I'm there, for the first time in my life) it is completely worth it to love what you do and be proud of your accomplishments. GO CATCH THE STARS, MY FRIENDS!!!
Problem is, I don't have a dream yet. For now, however, Miss T, your complete and utter glee makes life seem that much more fair.

*Please, Miss T, make them smart enough to earn big bucks but dumb enough to still agree to fund our social security cheques!

Thank you, Mifter! Feel free to come to room 42 anytime!!

but a couple of things...
1) it's "checks"
and
2) you DO have a dream! If I remember only 2 blog entries earlier, you were upset at the stupidity of the apathetic world... that shows passion! The first drive towards a goal is passion. Though you may not have pin-pointed the exact location of synaptic identity, your dream is there based on your desire for people to be intelligent and driven in purpose. Search for the dream. Or have some of David's vodka and forget about the bloody world... :)

Many congratulations to miss t! I hope vodka makes up a large part of your celebrations (or a margarita, at least - mr little green potato knows where to get the best). I assume this blog will be required reading for all the young minds in your charge. Well done again!

As for "cheques", remember that potato has been educated in the mother country. We speak "English (International)" here according to Microsoft.

(Welcome back, greeny! I thought you'd gone to seed...)

You're absolutely right. On behalf of all the inhabitants of Great Britain, and the late King George III, I'd like to apologise unequivocally to all Americans for taxation without representation and that business with the tea.

There we go. Agree to recognise the Queen as head of state and nothing more will be said.
